The title track from Motihari Brigade’s new album “Algorithm & Blues” (release date: September 8, 2022) raucously competes for any remaining crumbs of attention span still left available despite an onslaught from big-tech dominated media censors. Vibrato electric guitars drive this hyper-caffeinated exploration of the current dystopian dilemma. “Algorithm & Blues” is a rock-n-roll thoughtcrime celebration of the post-modern psychological crisis we are all now busily sharing on social media. Lyrics describe a “consciousness of memes” vying to define the prevailing narrative of today’s virtual reality - “the illusion of freewill, swallowing the pill.” The song ends with a nod to rock music's history of cultural defiance - "meanwhile I'm still thinking."
